Cookie Policy
What cookies and browser storage we use on zentfunharbr.cfd, why we use them, and how you can control them at any time.
This policy is issued by zentfunharbr Ltd, Ground Floor, Bishopsgate House, 27 Colston Street, Bristol BS1 5AP, United Kingdom. It explains our use of cookies and similar technologies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and record anonymous information about how the site is used. Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (retained until they expire or you delete them). They can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by another domain).
2. Similar technologies
Alongside cookies, websites may use related storage technologies. On this site we use the browser's localStorage feature to remember your cookie consent decision. Unlike a cookie, this value is not transmitted to our server with each request — it stays on your device until you clear your browser data. Where this policy refers to "cookies", it includes such equivalent technologies.
3. Why we use them
- To make core site functions work reliably, including remembering your consent choice.
- To keep the site secure and to detect abusive traffic patterns.
- Where consented, to understand in aggregate which pages are useful, so we can improve structure and content.
We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling individuals.
4. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enable the site to function, remember your privacy choice, and protect against abuse. | No — exempt under PECR |
| Functional | Remember non-essential display preferences that improve usability. | Yes |
| Analytics / performance | Aggregate, de-identified measurement of page views and navigation paths. | Yes |
| Advertising / targeting | Not used on this website. | N/A |
5. Detailed inventory
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
zentfunharbr_cookie_consent |
Local storage (strictly necessary) | zentfunharbr (first party) | Stores whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the banner is not shown repeatedly. | Until browser storage is cleared |
| Server access logs | Not a cookie — server-side record | Hosting provider | Security monitoring, fault diagnosis, and abuse prevention. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics identifier | Analytics (optional) | Third-party analytics provider | Set only if you select "Accept All". Measures aggregate page views and navigation paths. | Up to 13 months |
This inventory is reviewed periodically. If we introduce a new non-essential cookie, we will update this table and request fresh consent before it is placed.
6. Third-party cookies
We keep third-party technologies to a minimum. Where an analytics provider is enabled following your consent, that provider may process technical data such as a truncated IP address on our behalf under a written data processing agreement. We instruct providers not to use the data for their own advertising purposes. Any embedded third-party content, if introduced in future, will be listed in section 5 before it is activated.
7. Your choices and consent
On your first visit, a banner is displayed at the bottom of the screen offering the following options:
- Accept All: allows functional and analytics technologies in addition to strictly necessary ones.
- Reject Non-Essential: blocks all optional technologies; only strictly necessary items remain.
- Manage Preferences: brings you to this page for full details before you decide.
No non-essential cookie is placed before you make a choice. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not restrict your access to any content on this site.
8. Withdrawing consent
You may change your mind at any time. Because your decision is stored locally in your browser, clearing your site data for zentfunharbr.cfd will reset the preference and the consent banner will appear again on your next visit, allowing you to choose differently. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place beforehand.
9. Browser and device controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data through their settings menu — commonly found under "Privacy", "Site settings", or "Security". Typical routes include:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
You can also browse using a private or incognito window, which discards storage when the window is closed. Refer to your browser's help pages for the most current instructions.
10. Do Not Track signals
There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Because we do not conduct cross-site tracking or behavioural advertising, our default handling of your data is unaffected by such signals.
11. Consequences of blocking cookies
This website is designed to work without optional cookies. If you block all storage, including strictly necessary items, the consent banner may reappear on every visit because we cannot record your choice. Core navigation, forms, and content will still function.
12. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least annually and whenever we add or remove a technology. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will be accompanied by a renewed consent request. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect.
13. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, or wish to request further information about a specific technology, write to zentfunharbr Ltd, Ground Floor, Bishopsgate House, 27 Colston Street, Bristol BS1 5AP, United Kingdom, or use our contact form. You may also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
